Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and place in saucepan. Add water and
boil for 1 minute.
Peel and core and slice 4 apples in half. Add a few at a time to syrup,
cover and cook until tender.
Drain on wax paper and chill.
1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
2 Apples
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 c Water
