1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, honey and water with crushed canned
pineapple and its syrup.
2. Bring to a boil; then simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Serve hot, in small bowls. VARIATION: For the crushed pineapple, substitute
1 pound fresh cherries, pitted and shredded; or the pulp and juice of 3
oranges.
