Walnut Carrots

Ingredients:
- 5 c Sticks or 32 baby carrots
- 1 1/2 c Water
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/2 c Melted butter
- 2 ts Honey
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/4 ts Coarse pepper
- 2 tb Lemon juice
- 1/4 ts Grated lemon peel
- 1/2 c Coarsely broken walnuts
Instructions:
Cook carrots in water with 1/2 teaspoon salt added, just until tender.
Drain well. Meanwhile, heat remaining ingredients except the walnuts. Pour
this topping over hot carrots. Toss in walnuts. Tootie Note: I use the
small baby carrots. Put in my Pampered Chief steamer with 3/4 cup water or
so and steam in microwave till tender and proceed.
