Walnut-Apricot Filling

Ingredients:
- 1 c Sugar
- 1/4 c White wine
- 2 c Ground walnuts
- 1 tb Freshly grated lemon zest
- 2 tb Apricot jam or orange
- -marmalade
- 1 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c Raisins
- 2 tb Fine dried bread crumbs
Instructions:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and wine. Bring to a
boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. In a medium bowl combine all remaining
ingredients. Pour in hot sugar mixture and mix well; let cool.
NOTES : Use with Christmas Poppy Seed and Nut Rolls. Yield: 3 cups. Recipe
