- 9 c Sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tb Salt
- 2 c Crisco shortening
- 3 tb Baking powder
- 1/4 c Sugar
Instructions:

3 c Mix
2/3 c Milk
--------------------------------FOR PANCAKES--------------------------------
3 c Mix
1 c Milk
2 Eggs
----------------------------FOR CHEESE BISCUITS----------------------------
3 c Mix
2/3 c Milk
1/2 c Grated American cheese
1 ts Paprika
--------------------------------FOR MUFFINS--------------------------------
3 c Mix
1 c Milk
1 Egg
2 tb Sugar
Stir baking powder, salt & sugar into flour. Sift together 3 times into
large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mix is
consistency of cornmeal. Store in a tightly covered container at room
temperature. To measure mix, pile it lightly into a standard cup & level
off with a spatula. BISCUITS; Stir ingredients & roll as for other
biscuits. Bake at 450 until done. PANCAKES: Stir ingredients together &
grill as usual. CHEESE BISCUITS: Mix ingredients, bake as for biscuits.
MUFFINS: Mix & bake at 425.
