Directions:

Mix together: brown sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, egg, baking soda, salt,
flour, milk, cherry juice, unsweetened chocolate, vanilla, and chopped
cherries. Drop by rounded teaspoons. Bake 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Immediately after removing from oven, top with 1/2 large marshmallow, cut
side down. Pour over marshmallow: chocolate chips melted with 1/4 c.
shortening.

Ingredients:

2/3 c Brown sugar; packed
1/2 c Shortening
1 Egg
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Flour
2 tb Milk
1/4 c Maraschino cherry juice
2 Sq unsweetened chocolate;
-melted
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Chopped maraschino cherries
lg Marshmallows; cut in half
1 c Chocolate chips; melted
1/4 c Shortening
