Cut shortening into flour; baking powder and salt in medium bowl until
mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in cheese and milk until blended. Drop
dough by 10 to 12 spoonfuls onto casserole/stew and cook uncovered for 10
minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
3 tb Shortening
1 1/2 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 c Shredded sharp cheddar
3/4 c Milk
