Chocolate Cake with Amish Starter

Ingredients:
- 2/3 c Oil; or shortening*
- 2/3 c Sugar
- 2/3 c Cocoa
- 3 Eggs
- 1 c Batter; Amish Starter
- 1 3/4 c Flour
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/2 ts Baking powder
- 1 1/2 ts Baking soda
- 1 ts Vanilla
- 1/2 c Water; 3/4 cup*
Instructions:
Beat together oil, sugar and cocoa. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend in
batter. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with water and vanilla. Pour
into 2-9" pans (greased and floured). Bake at 350 for 30 min.
*If you use shortening, increase water.
