For a very different-flavored dumpling, one that will go particularly
well with chicken stew, add 1/2 cup ground-up fresh cranberries, along with
2 tablespoons sugar, to the Dumplings recipe (see recipe) and proceed with
the cooking.
Careful, these may become addictive in your household, in which case you
can use frozen cranberries off-season.
1/2 c Ground up cranberries
2 tb Sugar
