Curried Sauce for Turkey or Chicken

Ingredients:
- 1/4 c Butter Or Margarine
- 1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
- 1 Onion; Chopped, To Taste
- 1 Apple; Peeled,Cored&Chopped
- 1 ts Curry Powder
- 1 c Chicken Broth
- 1/4 c Flour; Unbleached
- 1 c Light Cream; 1/2 Pt.
- Salt & Pepper; To Taste
Instructions:
In a saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic, onion and apple for
about 5 minutes. Stir in the curry powder and saute for 1 minute more.
Stir in the flour and gradually add the chicken broth and cream. Season
to taste with the salt and pepper. Serve with cooked sliced turkey or
chicken.
Makes 2 cups of sauce.
