Apple-Date Cream Cake

Ingredients:
- 2 c Flour
- 1 c Sugar
- 1 1/2 ts Soda
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 ts Cinnamon
- 1/2 ts Allspice
- 2 Eggs; slightly beaten
- 1 cn (21-oz) apple pie filling
- 1/2 c Oil
- 1 ts Vanilla
- 1 c Chopped dates
- 1 c Chopped nuts
- Cool whip
Instructions:
Combine first 6 ingredients; stir gently. Combine next 4 ingredients; mix
well and stir into dry ingredients. Stir in dates and nuts. Pour into a
greased and floured 13x9-2-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Cool. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
