Date Nut Roll

Ingredients:
- 2 c Sugar
- 1/2 c Evaporated milk
- 1/3 c White Kyro syrup
- 2 tb Butter
- 1/2 lb Dates; chopped
- 4 c Walnuts; pecans, almonds or
- -mac nuts, chopped
Instructions:
Combine sugar, milk, syrup and butter in pan and bring to a soft boil (234
degrees). Remove from heat and mix in dates. Beat until thick and then add
nuts. Roll into logs. Place in frig for a couple hours and then slice and
put each piece into a paper candy cup. Me ke aloha, Mary
