Dilly Bread #1

Ingredients:
- 1 pk Dry yeast
- 1/4 c Lukewarm water
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/4 ts Soda
- 1 tb Instant onion flakes
- 1 c Cottage cheese; at room
- -temp.
- 2 tb Sugar
- 1 tb Shortening
- 1 Unbeaten egg
- 2 ts Dill seed
- 2 1/4 -(up to)
- 2 1/2 c Flour
Instructions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, salt, shortening & egg. Beat 1 minute.
Add dill seed, onion flakes & cheese. Mix well. Add flour & soda mixed
together. Mix all ingredients & knead well. Let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down & knead several times. Put into a greased 2-quart casserole. Let
rist until double again. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
