Easy Potato Chowder

Ingredients:
- 5 Strips bacon; diced
- 1 c Frozen chopped onions
- 2 c Milk or cream
- 2 c Chicken broth
- 1 ts Thyme; crushed
- 3 1/2 c Firmly packed frozen mashed
- -potatoes
- 2 tb Fresh chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
In a large kettle, saute bacon and onions until bacon begins to crisp;
drain bacon grease if desired. Add milk, chicken broth and thyme; bring to
a boil. Stir in mashed potatoes; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in parsley and
season with salt and pepper to taste.
