Melt butter & chocolate. Add sugar, egg yolks, nuts & vanilla. Beat egg
whites until stiff; fold into chocolate mixture. Spread crumbs in bottom of
9x14-inch pan. Pour chocolate mixture over crumbs & freeze 2 hours. Spread
softened ice cream over chocolate & sprinkle wafer crumbs over top. Freeze
until serving time.
