Homemade Chili with Meat

Ingredients:
- 16 oz Red kidney beans
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 c Chopped onions
- 1 c Chopped celery
- 2 cn Tomatoes,undrained -- cut
- Up
- 1 1/2 c Tomatoe juice
- 10 1/2 oz Can cond. beef broth
- 1 tb Chile powder
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Soak beans as directed on package. Drain; reserve 2 quarts liquid in large
deep pot, bring beans and reserved liquid to boil; reduce heat and simmer
gently, covered for 2 hours. In large skillet, brown ground beef; drain.
Add ground beef and remaining ingredients to beans; simmer gently,
uncovered an additional 1 to 1 1/2 hours until beans are tender. Makes 8 (1
1/2-cups) servings You might like to add some of the following; sugar,
cummins, Roi Tel hot tomatoes, & even more ideas.
