Balsamic Pork Chops From Lhj

Ingredients:
- 2 ts Olive oil
- 4 Pork chops; 1 inch thick
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 c Minced shallots
- 1/2 c Chicken broth
- 1/4 c Balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 ts Thyme
- 1 tb Butter or margarine
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat, 2 minutes. Sprinkle pork
chops with salt and pepper. Add to skillet and cook 5 minutes per side.
Transfer to platter and keep warm.
2. Add shallots to pan; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add broth, vinegar and
thyme; cook, stirring, over high heat 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in
butter. Pour over chops.
Total prep time: 20 minutes Degree of Difficulty: Easy
