Mint Glazed Lamb

Ingredients:
- 5 lb Leg of lamb
- Salt & pepper
- 1 Jar (10 oz) mint flavored
- Apple jelly
- 1/2 c Dry white wine
- 2 tb Butter
- 2 tb Brown sugar
- 1 ts Grated lemon peel
- 1/2 ts Dry mustard
- 3 Bananas (cut in large
- Chunks)
Instructions:
Sprinkle lamb with salt & pepper. Roast in 350 oven for 3 hours.
Meanwhile, combine mint jelly, wine, butter, brown sugar, lemon peel
& mustard in saucepan; simmer 5 minutes. Baste lamb with sauce during
last hour of roasting. Drop bananas in remaining mint sauce; heat for
several minutes, serve as accompaniment to lamb.
