Beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard. Mix well. Butter the bottom of a 9"
x 13" baking dish. Place bread cubes on the bottom. Make a layer of
sausage; next a layer of cheese. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the
top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 minutes. Let stand
about 5 minutes before cutting.
NOTE We enjoy Portuguese sausage in this casserole.

1 ts Salt
1 ts Dry mustard
2 sl White bread; cubed
1 lb Sausage; browned *see note
1 c Cheddar cheese; shredded
