Oat and Dried Fruit Cereal with Honey And Hogurt

Ingredients:
- 1 c Old-fashioned oats
- 1 c Plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 c Mixed diced dried fruits,
- -such as dates, prunes, figs
- -and apples
- 1/2 c Chopped toasted hazelnuts or
- -almonds
- 2 tb Honey
- 4 1/2 ts Fresh lemon juice
- Additional yogurt (optional)
- Additional honey (optional)
Instructions:
"This Swiss staple known as Birchermuesli can be a healthful breakfast or
snack.
Combine oats, 1/2 cup yogurt, dried fruits, nuts, honey and lemon juice in
medium bowl; stir to blend. Refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 6 hours.
Stir remaining 1/2 cup yogurt into mixture. Serve, passing additional
yogurt and honey, if desired.
