Acadian Coush-Coush

Ingredients:
- 2 c Cornmeal
- 1 1/2 ts Salt
- 1 ts Baking powder
- 1 1/2 c Milk or water
- 1/2 c Cooking oil or bacon grease
Instructions:
Mix thoroughly cornmeal, salt, baking powder and milk. Put oil or grease
in a skillet; heat. Let crust form. Give a good stir and lower heat to
simmer. Cover. Cook 15 minutes. Serve with milk and sugar or with syrup.
