Barmbrack

Ingredients:
- 375 g Mixed fruit
- 1 Egg
- 1 c Warm black tea
- 1 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
- 2 c S.r. flour

Place mixed fruit in the warm tea with the sugar, stir until dissolved. Let
cool. Add the well beaten egg to the cooled mixture, then fold in the
sifted flour, mix well. Place mixture into greased and lined 9"x5" loaf
tin. Bake in mod./slow oven approx. 2 hrs. or until cooked when tested.
Serve sliced buttered or plain.
