Sailor's Beef

Ingredients:
- 2 lb Bottom round steak (1/4"
- Thick)
- Flour
- Salt & pepper
- Butter
- 8 lg Peeled & sliced potatoes
- 5 Sliced onions
- 1/4 c Minced fresh parsley
- 2 1/2 c Beef stock
- 1 c Beer
Instructions:
Flour meat. Salt & pepper lightly. Heat 3 Tbls. butter in skillet &
brown. In baking dish 16*10*3", place half the meat on bottom. Add
layer of half the potatoes & half the onions. Sprinkle with salt &
pepper & half the parsley. Repeat. Pour stock & beer over all. Cover
with foil & bake 250 oven for 3-4 hours. Let stand 15 minutes.
